It is recommended that youaim to take on board between 30 and 90 grams of carbohydrate every hour youexercise. The longer the duration of your event the higher up this spectrum youshould aim; for events between 1-2 hours, 30 grams/hour should be sufficient,for 2-4 hours, 60 grams/hour is recommended and for 4 hours plus you may needto increase this to 90 grams/hour.
